Middle East, Metalwork. For the right arm. Watered steel, chiseled with ovoid panels and decorated with floral borders in gold kuftkari and a medial line of ruby colured stones. Two wrist plates are attached by riveted steel mail links and a mitten is covered with alternating rows of stamped steel theta links and plain riveted links. The lining is red velvet. Probably Iranian, 18th century. Islamic arms and armour. Inter-departmental transfer to MES, RF 2011/ 1170.
