Middle East, Metalwork. A broadly rectangular case with an obliquely cut top, widening at the rounded base, covered with a repeating floral pattern in yellow and red. It has green and gold embroidered borders and decorative rivets around the edges. Probably Iran, 19th century. Islamic arms and armour. Inter-departmental transfer to MES, RF 2011/1170.
