Middle East, Metalwork. Large dagger with a dark, chiselled watered steel blade with medial rib decorated with floral arabesques in gold kuftkari. The carved ivory hilt is decorated with figurative motifs and calligraphic panels. The pommel cap is silver, chiselled and set with three dark stones and twelve turquoises.
