al-Riyāḍ (Book of gardens)
Jābir (Geber) is usually considered the father of Arabic alchemy, though mystery surrounds his identity and the origin of the vast corpus of writings to which his name was already attached by the second half of the 10th century CE. The Riyāḍis a technical work dealing with chemical processes.
