[Album of Indian paintings]
An album of 44 paintings, including portraits, court, harem, and hunting scenes, arranged to show associated images in each opening, within uniform gold-speckled borders. Created in India, 18th century.
Extent: 44 leaves. 443 x 330 mm approx. (size of leaf 440 x 320 mm).
Binding: Enamel binding with two miniatures inset on upper and lower covers. 22 quires of two leaves each held in place by ribbons.
